FS Conrad, is a conceptual typeface. Formed from the theoretical ideas of the work of artist Conrad Shawcross for his Chord exhibition. FS Conrad, an intricate display typeface composed of fine parallel lines that overlap to create a multilayered texture within words.

FS Dillon is a rational typeface. Its inspiration came from our exploration of the work and philosophy of the Bauhaus movement of the 1920s and 30s, their pursuit of simple, practical forms. To this we’ve added a thoroughly modern flavour, stark yet warm, imbued with the quirky individuality that has become a Fontsmith signature. The letterforms are simple and direct. Compact, with a large x height, they are built for maximum clarity, economy of space, and impact. But that’s not all. The Bauhaus sought beauty through function – we think we’ve achieved that too.

Not a revival, but very much a contemporary & sturdier interpretation of a garalde – a class of typeface originating in the 16th century with characteristically rounded serifs and moderate contrast in between strokes. FS Brabo is a modern take on a workhorse serif typeface: colorful and versatile enough to adorn not just editorial projects but also signage, advertising, logotypes and other uses.
