Trad (Träd is Swedish for tree) is inspired by viking mythology and runic alphabets. Imagine a viking warrior crudely carving a message into a tree stump with his trusty dagger, sipping on a flagon of ale and pondering a hard days slaying. Like the blade of his blood encrusted axe, Trad is ideal for projects requiring a sharp edge, such as the cover of your next thriller, zombie flick, or death metal album.

Kandij is a Dutch word and it means ‘Rock Sugar’. We Dutch use it in a lot of products, from ‘ontbijtkoek’ (a rye based spiced cake we sometimes eat for breakfast) to Fryske Sûkerbôle, A Frisian sweet bread.

Kandij is a fat and happy font. I’d probably use it for any book or product aimed at children, as it has a certain lumpy cuteness.

Comes with diacritics and swashes for the upper case letters.

Diodrum Rounded is a spurless sans family for the Latin script. ‘Spurless’ typefaces feature smooth transitions from letters’ stems into their curved strokes. The design is generally monolinear. Diodrum Rounded’s x-height is tall, and counter-forms are large and open. Instead of being drawn with straight lines, Diodrum Rounded’s diagonals swell outward. This gives letters with prominent diagonals an increased dynamism.
